i-level win AOL Online Planning Awards, 2007
Congratulations to i-level’s Alex Miller and Tom Dunn who are overall winners in this year’s AOL Online Planning Awards, in association with Media Week.
Entries to this year’s awards were outstanding with entrants and winners from a cross section of categories including FMCG campaigns, demonstrating the importance of online working in symbiosis with traditional media.
i-Levels’ winning campaign, TalktoFRANK Bot beat off tough competition from four other categories to land the grand prize, a VIP trip to Vegas. Harnessing artificial intelligence and Instant Messenger technology, open two-way digital conversations were created between teenagers and the COI’s drugs advice service, resulting in a highly effective campaign.
A themed awards evening was held on 4 October at London’s largest Casino, The Casino at the Empire, Leicester Square, designed to get winners in the mood for their prize! Congratulations to all our category winners and highly commended entries and a big thank you to everyone who entered.

About the AOL Online Planning Awards
Now in its third year, The AOL Online Planning Awards, in association with Media Week, recognise and reward the hard work and imagination of online campaigns by celebrating digital activity and the role this plays in an overall media strategy. In 2007, the awards also acknowledged individual digital ‘stars’, in the new category 'Young Digital Media Person of the Year'.
